Generation Next: Are we ready?

How do you start a blog line describing your experiences of being a recent father in our post-modern era? I have no idea but one thing is certain: your identity changes with the birth of your child. I am 38. Born in 1969 I am officially part of generation X. Our generation lived through the birth of Hip-hop, punk, the A-team (with Mr. T), A Different World, Atari, Hinckley’s failed assassination attempt of President Reagan, the Wall Street Crash of 1987, Boy George, Madonna, the fall of the Berlin Wall and Communism, and those very peculiar sea monkeys sold though comic books.
